In the textile engineering domain, it comprises of a fully owned state-of-the-art facility for manufacturing precision spinning machinery components, under the brand ‘TeraSpin’, joint ventures that include Truetzschler India, a j/v with Trützschler, Germany, to manufacture spinning preparatory machinery, and KARL MAYER Textile Machinery India, a j/v among KARL MAYER, Rabatex Industries and A.T.E., to manufacture warp preparation machines and creels for the Indian market.

In case of processing, it has successfully commissioned non-woven finishing line at Welspun by supplying a complete package of machinery for finishing. Also A.T.E has supplied coating solution at DDecor and Sri Venkatalashmi. Arvind, Kusumger and Khosla Fabrics are using Guarneri calender for finishing filtration and parachute fabrics. Truetzschler Nonwovens and Voith are thrilled to be the technology partner for Tufropes’ (patent pending) unique nonwoven line based on pentamerous technology.

The new installation relies heavily on Truetzschler/Voith core components for wet-laying, carding and hydro entangling. Proprietary refinements will allow Tufropes to produce any possible hydro entangled nonwoven material, including bio-degradable, natural fibre, eco-friendly high- performance nonwovens. Globally this would be a first industrial-scale pentamerous technology-based nonwoven project. The company has recently supplied Karl Mayer technical textile machines at SKAPS I Pvt. Ltd. for their Mundra and Halol plant.

The company has been a regular participant at Techtextil, which offers it a great opportunity to interact with technical textile producers across India.
