Showcasing Innovation at Techtextil 2026 and INDEX 2026
At the upcoming Techtextil 2026 in Germany and INDEX 2026 in Switzerland, India based speciality nonwoven fabrics manufacturer Sidwin Fabrics will showcase a wide range of innovative functional fabrics. These include single side or double side lamination fabrics and also absorbent one sided lamination fabrics for application in hygiene products.

Soft Spunbond Nonwovens similar to Spunlace in Wet Wipes Segment
“We have also developed a super soft absorbent fabric used for wet wipes which are made from spunbond nonwoven fabrics. Mostly wet wipes are conventionally made from spunlace fabrics. We have also developed a spunmelt fabric in which one side is spunbond and other side is a coating of meltblown fabric, which is also a first time in India. This fabric can be used as industrial wipes to remove grease and oil stains from the hands as one side of the fabric has abrasions which help remove the stains,” Mr Suresh Patel, Director at Sidwin Fabrics explained.

“We are also open to customising our fabrics as per requirements of customers like anti-static fabrics, fire retardant fabrics, hydrophobic and hydrophilic fabrics and fabrics with many other functional properties. We have also recently developed an odour free low VOC fabric” he added.
Sidwin Fabrics: Built on Polymer and Manufacturing Expertise
Sidwin Fabrics Private was established in 2012 with a forward-looking vision to contribute meaningfully to the rapidly evolving global nonwovens industry. The company was founded by a team of experienced professionals with deep-rooted expertise in polymers, manufacturing processes, and industrial business management.
Manufacturing Infrastructure & Capacity
“Sidwin Fabrics operates a modern, fully integrated manufacturing facility designed to meet international production and quality benchmarks. The plant is equipped with advanced spunbond nonwoven production lines, incorporating the latest technologies in extrusion, filament spinning, web formation, and thermal bonding,” Mr Patel who is also President of Indian Nonwoven Manufacturers Association stated.

The company currently operates with a production capacity of approximately 1,000 metric tons per month. The infrastructure is engineered to deliver high uniformity in fabric structure and GSM consistency; superior tensile strength and elongation properties with the flexibility to produce a wide range of GSMs and fabric types and lastly stable and repeatable production performance across batches.
In addition, Sidwin maintains stringent in-house quality control systems, including raw material testing, online process monitoring, and finished product inspection. This ensures that every fabric roll meets the demanding standards of hygiene and medical applications, particularly for international markets.
Machinery & Technology Selection
Sidwin Fabrics has made strategic investments in advanced and globally benchmarked machinery across all stages of the nonwoven manufacturing process. Key considerations in technology selection include; precision in filament extrusion and uniform fibre distribution; capability to produce multi-layer fabrics such as SS, SSS, and SSMS & MeltBlow fabric all through energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact and compatibility with hygiene and medical-grade requirements.

Automation Initiatives
“Automation is a critical pillar in Sidwin’s operational philosophy, enabling the company to maintain precision, consistency, and efficiency at scale. Our plant has automated raw material feeding and dosing systems for accurate blending; advanced control systems for monitoring and regulating temperature, pressure, and line speed; real-time online GSM and quality monitoring systems; and automated winding, slitting, and roll handling processes,” Mr Patel informed.
Product Range & Applications
Sidwin Fabrics offers a comprehensive and technologically advanced portfolio of polypropylene spunbond and meltblown nonwoven fabrics in GSMs ranging from 9 to 220. The product range includes SS nonwoven fabrics – offering a balance of softness and strength; SSS nonwoven fabrics which has enhanced softness and uniformity for premium hygiene products; SSMS medical-grade fabric with multi-layer composite structure providing superior barrier and filtration properties, while meltblown fabrics have fine fibre structure suitable for filtration and medical applications.
Applications
Applications of fabrics produced by Sidwin Fabrics include baby diapers, sanitary napkins and adult incontinence products in the hygiene sector. In the medical segment, applications include surgical gowns, face masks, respirators and drapes and disposable medical kits. In industrial and packaging applications, they can be used in carry bags and protective packaging and also as industrial covers and liners. In agriculture and technical usage, they can be used as crop protection fabrics and specialized technical applications.
Sustainability Focus
The company has implemented significant measures to reduce its environmental impact, which includes achieving up to 80% of its energy consumption through renewable sources and has also adopted energy-efficient production technologies. Sidwin Fabrics also uses VOC-free masterbatches, ensuring cleaner and safer manufacturing processes and there are continuous efforts toward waste reduction, recycling, and resource optimization.
Market Presence
Sidwin Fabrics has developed a strong and growing presence in both domestic and international markets.
The company derives more than 40% of its business from direct exports, with a primary focus on; countries of the European Union, United States, United Kingdom, Japan and other countries.
Expansion Plans
“We have planned to add an additional 600 metric tons per month capacity in the near future. This expansion will enable Sidwin to enhance its production capabilities, improve product diversity, and further strengthen its position as a reliable global supplier,” Mr Patel concluded by saying.
