One of the company’s outstanding product is the ‘The Web Master FUTURA’ card, with double intermediate doffers, which stands out for high web quality, high production, and gentle fiber treatment for highest carding and blending effects. Specifically designed for spunlace applications, AUTEFA Solutions Injection card enables drylaid web forming at very high production rates. The Injection Card uses a unique combination of mechanical and aerodynamic principles for a gentle fiber treatment. Around 40 injection cards are running globally on spunlace lines.
The crosslappers Topliner increases both web homogeneity and throughput speeds. The crosslappers of the Topliner series, combined with web profile control WebMax and the ‘Closed Loop’ system prevent the increased weight of the fabric in the edge areas, called the ‘smile effect’. This results in an excellent uniformity in the fabric and, thanks to a considerable saving of materials, a reduction in material costs. AUTEFA has delivered more than 500 cross-lappers since last 20 years. Other highlights are the Hydroentanglement Machine V-Jet FUTURA and the Square Drum Dryer SQ-V are an advanced and unique technology with special focus on reducing energy consumption.
With unique V-jet design up to 30% lower energy consumption can be achieved. Needlelooms from AUTEFA Solutions based on Stylus NL drive and Stylus Variliptic drive concept, combine Fuhrer’s know-how and long-time experience with the latest technology and offer optimum solutions for any kind of needling requirements. In India geotextiles, automotive products, wipes, sanitary napkins and baby diapers are showing very promising growth rates. Typical applications of needle-punched nonwovens are artificial leather, automotive felts and carpets. Products for thermal and noise insulation are typical applications for the airlay technology. AUTEFA has a good customer base in India and recently supplied new machines to Indian customers as well as two complete needlepunching lines to Bangladesh for geotextile applications.
