At ITMA ASIA 2025, THEMA 2 S.r.l. (THEMA SYSTEM) is set to showcase its cutting-edge solutions in automation, AI-driven vision inspection, and textile quality control, with a clear focus on expanding its footprint in Asia and beyond.

Strengthening Global Presence at ITMA ASIA 2025
THEMA SYSTEM is a leader in vision inspection and automation solutions for the textile industry, is preparing for a strong presence at ITMA ASIA 2025 in Singapore. The company will participate alongside IGH, a global leader in automation solutions, and VB-Set, a leading equipment manufacturer for man-made fiber spinning.
“The exhibition will be an opportunity to reconnect with our long-standing customers, meet new ones, and demonstrate the depth of our expertise,” says Mr. Simone Ducceschi, Sales and Project Manager. “ITMA ASIA comes at a strategic moment for us to boost business momentum and open doors for 2026.”
Showcasing Next-Generation Products
At the exhibition, THEMA SYSTEM will highlight its latest breakthrough – the “Spectral Q Socks”, an automated solution designed specifically for the visual inspection of socks. The machine automatically inspects each sock, detects color differences across sections, and classifies bobbins based on operator-defined recipes. This automation reduces dependence on human sensitivity, ensuring greater reliability, repeatability, and efficiency.

In addition, THEMA SYSTEM will present its LDCS system, widely recognized as an industry benchmark for density control, and the Visual Inspection platform powered by enhanced AI neural networks. These solutions highlight the company’s focus on combining precision with automation to deliver unmatched value to textile manufacturers.
AI-Powered Innovation in Textile Inspection
THEMA SYSTEM continues to push the boundaries of textile inspection technology with its upgraded RA Vision and TAQC systems, powered by the latest artificial intelligence models.

“Our AI neural networks go beyond detection—they enable classification of defects such as broken yarns, traverses, stains, or tails,” explains Mr. Ducceschi. “This continuous self-learning process, enhanced through operator feedback, ensures the system improves shift after shift.”
The combination of in-house algorithms for defect detection and AI-powered classification sets new benchmarks for textile quality control, making THEMA SYSTEM’s solutions indispensable for manufacturers seeking consistency and operational excellence.
Business Resilience in 2025
The year 2025 has presented challenges with tariffs, market volatility, and delayed investment approvals. Yet, THEMA SYSTEM has managed to maintain stability by leveraging its strong local presence in Turkey and China.
“This proximity to customers allowed us to stay engaged and discover new opportunities,” notes Mr. Ducceschi. For example, the company has found success with its new bobbin transportation trolley, initially designed as an accessory for inspection systems, which has since gained traction as a standalone product.
At the same time, THEMA SYSTEM has continued to receive orders for the renewal of plants installed over 20 years ago, underscoring the reliability and longevity of its solutions. Discussions around new automation projects are ongoing, and the company remains optimistic that as market conditions stabilize, these opportunities will quickly convert into concrete business.
India: A Key Growth Market
With India emerging as a hub for technical textiles, THEMA SYSTEM is actively expanding its focus on the market.
“We see India as a future leader in this space, and we are committed to being part of that journey,” emphasizes Mr. Ducceschi. “Our aim is to build strong relationships, educate the market about our capabilities, and deliver solutions that address the evolving needs of Indian manufacturers.”
THEMA SYSTEM is also preparing for its participation at Techtextil India in Mumbai to be held in November 2025, which will serve as another major platform to strengthen its local presence.
Vision for the Future
Backed by the IGH Group and supported by a strong innovation pipeline, THEMA SYSTEM remains dedicated to helping textile manufacturers worldwide achieve precision, performance, and sustainable growth.
“As global manufacturing moves rapidly towards automation and digitization, THEMA SYSTEM is well-positioned to be a trusted partner,” says Mr. Ducceschi. “Our vision is clear: to lead in quality inspection through intelligent, AI-driven solutions that empower customers to stay competitive in an evolving global landscape.”
At ITMA ASIA 2025, THEMA SYSTEM is not just showcasing machines—it is presenting its commitment to innovation, automation, and global collaboration. With a strong focus on AI, a resilient business model, and a growing presence in high-potential markets like India, THEMA is poised to reinforce its reputation as a global leader in textile inspection solutions.
