SICAM s.r.l is known worldwide for manufacturing machinery and complete plants for the textile and nonwovens industry drawing upon its half a century experience in this sector. Founded in 1975 by Idres Zanardi, SICAM began by building parts of machines, conducting pre-assembly and final assembly at customer sites in the mechanical-textiles and nonwovens domains. His son, Stefano Zanardi, joined the company in 1983 to handle technical and commercial responsibilities.
SICAM has always moved with times and today answers to the new market requirements, including the rigorous demands of the COVID pandemic. The company offers a wide range of equipment for the bonding of nonwovens using thermo-chemical processes. It is today more oriented towards the recycled nonwovens production.

SICAM offers consolidated technologies that have considerable influence over the bonding of fibres from airlay and carding. It also manufactures lines for spun lace, spun bond, staple fibre, chemical bonding, spray bonding and thermofixing processes.
Responding to the pandemic times, SICAM is increasing the production of complete lines for meltblown and spun bond for fabricating disposable respirators that is quite high in demand currently, besides establishing lines for manufacturing spun lace nonwovens including cotton pads, wipes and light webs laminated products.
